With
20 years of experience designing high-end custom homes, Rudolph Architects is
proud to present a design for the 1999 Street of Dreams. The eastside firm was
founded in the belief that simple clean forms, strong circulation, daylight
and space are the basic tools of fine architecture. Sundance Lodge is a reflection
of these design standards. Through the selection of appropriate materials and
details Rudolph Architects has instilled both charm and intimacy into the grand
and luxurious spaces of this home.
"As a firm we feel strongly that indeterminate of style, armed with
these principles any clients aspirations and wishes can evolve into the home
of their dreams." - James Rudolph
Owner James Rudolph found inspiration for the design of Sundance Lodge through
his varied travels. He wanted to make the daily return to this home feel like
a vacation in the mountains, a respite from the demands and responsibilities
of the typical workday.
His use of rustic post and beam construction along with conventional materials
provides a blending of influences celebrating our unique Northwest heritage.
The luxurious grandeur of the design incorporating massive river-rock fireplaces
and expansive view windows flooding the space with daylight work to evoke
a feeling of tranquility and will make you and your guests feel relaxed and
pampered.
Over the years, the firm of Rudolph Architects has produced numerous homes
of various styles and budgets. All possessing the common elements of quality
design, a sense of the site, and attention to detail. This combined with extraordinary
personal service has led to a list of countless satisfied clients.
